Grimmjow Jeagerjaques Mirrors High: published kit
- His skill raises both Attack and Defense by 15% for 10 counts.
- The final Innate Ability grants 23% additional Attack while affected by a status ailment.
- An immobilizing ailment also activates an 8% Arts 1 damage bonus in the final ability.
What should you test first?
Measure downtime caused by ailments alongside any bonus damage. Compare clear consistency with a less conditional attacker.
Count the time you cannot act
Grimmjow presents an unusual trade-off: suffering an ailment can improve an offensive stat while also disrupting the actions needed to use it. A boosted hit after a long interruption is not automatically an improvement over uninterrupted attacks. In an encounter where ailments happen naturally, note the ailment duration, usable attack windows and survival outcome. Do not intentionally accept dangerous hits simply to satisfy the condition. Compare the complete attempt with a less conditional attacker at similar investment. If the extra Attack appears but you lose a key action window, the result explains why a headline bonus can overstate practical value.
