Mayuri Kurotsuchi Mirrors High: published kit
- At the final ability stage, Arts hits have a 50% chance to apply Poison and a 20% Defense reduction.
- His skill lowers Physical Defense by 10%, with another 15% reduction against Poisoned targets.
- His Mortal Blow has a 50% chance to apply Paralyze.
What should you test first?
Compare a Poison-susceptible target with a resistant one. Keep damage categories and ability stage consistent.
Match the reduction to the damage category
Mayuri’s additional Physical Defense reduction asks for two checks: Poison must be active and your intended follow-up must benefit from that reduction. Do not treat a word such as defense as proof that every attack category gains equally. Begin by identifying the teammate and attack you want to improve, then verify its current in-game category. Log Poison application separately from the follow-up result, especially when the effect is chance-based. A resistant target can break the setup before the damage question is even reached. This method helps you decide whether Mayuri fills a specific need instead of judging him as a universal buffer.

Use the two-character comparison to inspect another option’s role and drawbacks. Keep a useful team intact while evaluating a new investment. Our reroll framework is intended for starting-account decisions, and the methodology explains the limits of this provisional ranking.
